Puddicombe House is a historic Itilianate house located in downtown New Hamburg. In 1868 the 6900 sq ft house was built as a single family residence by businessman, MP and Senator Samuel Merner. In 1888 the house was sold to the Puddicombe family for $ 4,500.00. In 2006 the house was restored to its original grandeur. The house now features a full restaurant, spa and six B & B rooms. The main floor dinning rooms features intricate plaster details and painted ceilings. In season a grand porch is available for outdoor dining.
