Duggan Place is a Victorian home built in 1891 by Jeremiah Duggan, a prominent merchant in Stratford.
Large elegant rooms, tasteful decoration add to the charm of Duggan Place. We have four rooms for guests, all on the second floor. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, hairdryers, coffee makers, refrigerators and satellite TV. We serve breakfast in the dining room which has 4 tables for two, this enables enticing conversation among quests or quite conversation just between two.
Three of our rooms have gas fireplaces. Two with balconies and the two-level Angelina Suite has a private roof deck.

ROOMS & AMENITIES

Polly Kelly Room - Our Queen bedded room with ensuite (shower), French
doors to a private balcony, fireplace. A cosy, romantic space.

Carmela Room - Our Twin/King bedded room with ensuite (shower),
walkout to private deck, cozy bay window seating area. A bright and
sunny room (assuming the sun is out!)

Only Edward Room - Our Twin/King bedded room with ensuite, fireplace.
A double vanity in the bathroom, lots of room for toiletries etc.

Angelina Suite - Our Queen bedded room with two-level suite, ensuite bathroom
on one level, a large living area on the second level with a fireplace and
a private roof deck.

We have wireless internet access at all times, if you wish to print or scan we can do that
for you as well. We have our own private parking lot so you can walk to all amenities.
Our pets are two lovely cats, however they are in our quarters and you will only see them
if you ask for an introduction.

BREAKFAST

We serve a full course gourmet breakfast. We leave the bacon and eggs to you
at home because we believe your time away is special. We begin with fresh baked scones,
fresh fruit plate and a hot breakfast such as phyllo baked eggs, individual shitake
mushroom and herb flan, roasted vegetable strata or mini souffle frittatas with bacon
and sweet pepper and many more.

RATES

Our room rates for the months of April, May, October and November are $160.00
and June,July, August and September are $185.00. Our Winter rate is $110.00.
These rates apply to all rooms.
We charge the applicable 5% room tax and 5% G.S.T. (the tax is harmonised
to 13% as of July 1st.) A $20 charge will apply for a third person.

POLICIES

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m.
If you arrive earlier you are always welcome to leave your bags and get keys.
A 50% deposit per room night is required to hold your reservation. If the room is
cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date, the full amount is due. If however, the
room is re-booked, all monies will be refunded.

At Duggan Place we like to think of ourselves as a small inn. You still experience
the comfort of personalized service of a bed and breakfast with the privacy of a larger inn.
