The Caversham House Bed and Breakfast is a destination where you will experience the comfort of personalized service and warm hospitality that attracts guests to return year after year.

The newly renovated, air-conditioned, home successfully combines last century’s ambiance with today’s comforts. Sun filled, professionally decorated rooms are invitingly furnished. Tasteful style is also found on the spacious and comforting front porch or in the intimate garden, all a pleasure for discerning guests.

The classic red brick structure, built in 1915, is a fine example of Edwardian architecture. Many of the original architectural features have been carefully preserved.

Situated on a quiet, tree lined street in the heart of Stratford, an easy walk to the four theatres, restaurants, and shopping. Two blocks from Lake Victoria and Stratford’s picturesque parks.

ROOMS & AMENITIES

Room 1: The Sheridan appointed (at the front of the house) in french blue, features a queen size iron bed and three piece ensuite/shower (private), you will find this an inviting room at the end of your busy day.

Room 2: Our Balmore room with its subtle French influences and luxurious queen size bed, along with ample lighting for reading provides a restful environment. Private three piece ensuite with shower.

Room 3: The Henley Suite is a eclectic delight, features a private balcony, the garden view spills sunlight into the suite via multipe windows. This room has twin (2) or a king bed and private, four piece ensuite with a bath or shower.

* 2 per room maximum occupancy. Twin, queen or king beds. King conversion for two or more nights.

We are passionate about food and as such are committed to serving fresh, in-season, fare from local vendors and growers. You are invited to savour the morning meal, indulge, laugh and linger.

A delicious breakfast will greet you each morning at 8:30 A.M. Each day's full multi course breakfast is made with fresh locally grown, in-season ingrediants such as eggs, cheese, fruit and yummy Cavershan House-made granola. Plus, John's fresh, every morning home baking.

Special dietary needs will always be accomadated. Please be sure to make arrangments prior to your stay.

For early-risers, the aroma of fresh, fragrant coffee (or a beverage of your choice) along with a choice newspapers awaits any time after 7:00 A.M. You may enjoy the morning in the garden, sitting on the front porch or in the birght guest lounge.

RATES

All rates quoted in Canadian dollars.

3% DMF (destination marketing fee) plus 5% GST (VAT Tax) applicable to June 30, 2010.

Effective July 1, 2010 $2.00 per night VDF (visitor development fund) plus 13% HST (harmonized sales tax) applicable .

Cancellation Policy:
More than 21 days from date of arrival:
Refund of deposit; less $25.00 processing fee. A $25.00 credit note valid for one year from the original date of arrival will be issued.

Winthin 21 days of arrival:
Your deposit will be returned, less a processing fee of $25.00; if we are able to rebook the room. If we can not rebook the room the deposit is fortfeited.
