ROOMS & AMENITIES
The Arts and Craft Movement of the turn of the century provided the inspiration for the ARTS AND CRAFTS ROOM. Most of the furnishings and accessories in the room are original Arts and Crafts pieces or hand-made originals. This room features a queen size four poster iron bed designed by Tim and large ensuite bath with tub and shower.
The SAFARI ROOM recalls the Victorians’ intrigue with the exotic. Original African art and witty accents create a sense of the turn of the century view of the "Dark Continent." This room has two twin beds and shares the bath with the Chinese Room.
The CHINESE ROOM also features furnishings from the time of the building of our home. The coromandel screen, imperial portraits, side tables and carved wardrobe date from the late Ch’ing period. This room has a queen size bed and shares the bath with the Safari Room.
Step into the calm and cool of the MEDITERRANEAN ROOM. This unique, very quiet retreat located on the main floor at the back of the house, features its own porch, private entrance, queen sized bed and ensuite bath with shower.
Guests may enjoy the front and back gardens as well as the wonderful wrap around verandah. There is also a guest sitting area indoors as well as other quiet areas. Guests are welcome to leave a book/take a book from our upstairs book case. Our home has central air conditioning. Smoking is permitted on the verandahs. STAINED GLASS
Tim is an accomplished stained glass artist. He is happy to take your commissions, restore/repair works you already own or sell any of the many of his pieces on display throughout the house.
BREAKFAST
BREAKFAST:
We serve coffee after 7:30 in the kitchen as your are getting yourself ready to meet the day. For breakfast we serve fresh fruit, muffins fresh out of the oven, and a hot dish, such as omelets, pancakes, quiche and a variety of other unique creations that Tim has created. There's always lots of coffee, regular or decaf, a selection of black, green and herbal teas, juice. Our breakfast meals are always vegetarian and we are open to preparing food suitable for special dietary needs. Breakfast begins at 9:00 AM in the dining room and usually finish before lunch. RATES
Our rates are for two people. Single occupancy, less $5.00. GST and PST will be added to the room rate per night.
A reservation is considered complete and guaranteed when a deposit of one night stay is received or a Visa or MasterCard number will expiration date is received.
POLICIES
Check-in time: As arranged at the time of booking. If you should find your are running late or early, please call to let us know.
Check-out time: 11:00 AM
Cancellation policy: More than seven days notice- no charge. Less than seven days- the rate of the room, but only if we are unable to rebook the room.
Reservations: Please call between 8 AM and 9 PM. Please leave us a message if we are unable to answer your call. Normally, we only accept reservations for two nights on weekends. We at A Hundred Church Street proudly welcome all people to our home.
